All products are fully tested before dispatch, during shipping connectors can work loose and should be checked on arrival.
All products are rated by voltage and current type (AC or DC). It is very important that these ratings and supply polarity are observed in the connection and wiring of these products. We supply a full range of transformers for our products and recommend which transformer to use with each product. Incorrect wiring and/or use of the incorrect power supply can result in immediate irreparable damage to the LEDs and/or transformer.
Any wiring work where mains voltages are involved (230V) should always be carried out by a competent person, in accordance with relevant regulations.
If you do experience a fault please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01492 233002 and hopefully we can sort it out quickly without the need to return the product. If this is not the case we will issue a returns number which should be written clearly on the exterior of the package – this number is valid for 14 days. It would be helpful if you had our sales order/invoice number at hand when calling to report a fault.
On receipt of your faulty product we will inspect it to ascertain whether it is a manufacturing fault or a fault caused by installation. At the sole discretion of LED Illuminations the products will either be repaired, replaced or a refund offered.
Three factors will be looked into when investigating a fault; i) by who and how the product was installed, ii) whether we supplied the transformer or not and iii) the environment, could it be hostile i.e.; wet, overheating, dusty etc.
All products are covered by a manufacturing warranty; this is from date of sale and not date of installation.
The warranty will become void if the products have been altered in any way or if repair work has been attempted by someone other than our repair team.
